The route of the Triple ascends the peaks of Suther Peak, Judas Peak, and Chapmans Peak, in that order, touching each beacon and returning to our base in-between each peak. Think out-and-back and out-and-back and out-and-back.

While there are no set routes through the village, once on the mountains runners must remain on established trails to the beacon and back – no shortcuts are to be taken.

In the spirit of the run, all 3 beacons must be touched. Simple and not negotiable. Suther and Judas have a small scramble to the beacon – yes, it has to be done.

For those who are unsure of some options through the village, below is a Google Earth file that might assist. Blue to Suther Peak (red is an alternative – much nicer but slightly slower), yellow to Judas, and green to Chappies.
